You’ll Never Guess The Origin Of Some Of The Most Common Used Inventions
India – 0
It would be hard for many to believe that the number zero was not always in existence; surprisingly, it got invented. Another fact that may be hard to consider is that it was almost not created, as mathematicians did not see its importance till the 7th century AD in India.
At first, it was difficult to see how nothing could have a value until the numerical genius Brahmagupta showed that the yield is always zero when a number gets subtracted from itself. This theory made its way from China to the Middle East and then back to India, where it took the Oval shape form we know today as Zero.
