You’ll Never Guess The Origin Of Some Of The Most Common Used Inventions
Scotland – Color Television
We must thank Scottish inventor and engineer John Baird for introducing the world to colored televisions in 1928. However, the transition from black and white screens to technicolor took time. Broadcasting stations and networks in most parts of the globe only upgraded to this fantastic feature until the late ’90s.
This discovery has allowed the entertainment sector to grow widely as well. As ground-breaking as even black and white TV had been, a world in color opened up a whole new range of possibilities for entertainment industry professionals. With that said, we’ll admit that sometimes watching old transmissions in black and white can still be a lot of fun.
