Purple Frog
The purple frog is an endangered species that is indeed purple. However, its dark hue sometimes fades into grey or light brown. It also has a bloated body, very short limbs, a tiny head, and a pointed nose that looks out of place, giving it the appearance of a mole.
And just like moles, this purple creature has strong feet, well suited to burrowing and living underground. In fact, its skeleton and skull are much firmer than the average frog, making it strong enough to hold up the soil. And for food, it relies on its pointed snout to slurp up termites and ants.
