While people her age were sleeping soundly, Sally Lippman, better known as Disco Sally, was living it up at Studio 54. The retired attorney found a new lease on life in her 70s when she found New York City’s bustling dance scene and became a regular at the iconic nightclub.
In fact, she became one of Studio 54’s most recognizable patrons after its celebrity regulars. Disco Sally’s killer moves also earned the admiration of actors Dustin Hoffman and Bill Murray. And get this: the art publication Elephant even says that she found herself a twentysomething husband.
