Nothing can limit Grace Jones’ beauty and talent; not even time, judging from the ultimate throwback she pulled with this Egyptian pharaoh outfit reminiscent of Nefertiti. But if you’ve seen the Jamaican-born singer’s avant-garde looks from her other Studio 54 performances, this one’s pretty tame.
Still, Jones’ unique fashion sense and charm allowed her to make the shift from disco to new wave when the genre and the club went away. She even crossed over to become an actress starring in films like Boomerang and the James Bond movie, A View to Kill.
