That Time Cher Got Her Cowboy Hat On
You’re probably used to seeing Cher sparkle in her figure-hugging and often-bedazzled ensembles. She chose to keep things low key though when she got her cowboy on at Studio 54 in this 1977 shot. But you bet she still made sure to keep her signature long locks.
Wearing mule heels, jeans, and a matching hat, she danced the night away with screenwriter and boutique owner Howard Himmelstein. The two were good friends at the time and would often go out “stepping” together. Himmelstein said the same of Gregg Allman, Cher’s second husband.
