Tim Curry As Pennywise
Even though there’s been speculation as to whether the horror genre is dying, some movies’ success is remarkable. ‘It’ was a two-part horror miniseries released in 1990, starring Tim Curry as Pennywise the Dancing Clown. Some of its fans still believe that this series was scarier than horror movies released recently.
Originally, Curry intended to play all of the clown’s forms, but later, the production team decided otherwise because the change of appearance and costumes was time-consuming. Curry underwent hours of makeup by the skilled hands of the artist, Bart Mixon. The final result was impressive, especially considering this happened three decades ago.
