Linda Cardellini As Velma Dinkley
Currently filming on the final season of the tragicomedy Dead To Me, Linda Cardellini gained a foothold in the industry with roles in series ER and movies like Legally Blonde. But a movie role of hers that is often overlooked but brilliantly portrayed was her role as Velma Dinkley in 2002’s live-action Scooby-Doo movie and its sequel.
Cardellini is easily recognized, but what’s impressive is the way she plays the role and pulls off the cartoon characters look with aplomb. The key to the look was the telltale Velma thick spectacles, bob hairdo, and turtleneck top. In 2020 she played Mae Capone in the film Capone.
