The Japan-born British actress Kae Alexander earned a place in the international limelight with her role as Children of the Forest leader Leaf on Game of Thrones. Fans of the fantasy series were curious to discover more about the woman hiding under all that makeup and prosthetics.
According to Business Insider, Alexander spends nine to ten hours converting into the character, during which she has prosthetics glued and details added before putting on the makeshift outfits. It must’ve been an exhausting time. Alexander had recent appearances in productions like Collateral, White Dragon, and Deep State and is currently working on Infinite and The Wheel of Time.
