Like Orange Is The New Black, Downton Abbey is another show that, by its nature as a period drama, forces its cast to change their image to fit in with the roles they are playing. This was the same for Laura Carmichael, who portrayed the middle sister of the noble family of Downton Abbey, Lady Edith.
