You know you’re a talented actress when you can transform yourself into a character of the opposite gender and still make it work. That’s precisely what Cate Blanchett did when she played Bob Dylan, along with five actors, in the film I’m Not There. The Australian born actress took on one facet of the Blowin’ in the Wind singer called Jude Quinn.
Blanchett traded her blonde locks for a curly brown wig and donned a pair of Ray-Bans. The now 51-year-old star impressed audiences and critics alike, earning the Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival. She returned to the festival as the jury president in 2020.
