A Photographer Stepped Into a Neglected Home to Show Us a Unique Piece of American History

The legal authorities have sided with the school board in the ownership rights case filed by Marion Carll’s descendants. For that reason, Sansivero was given the time and freedom he needed to complete his collection of photos. He visited the old farmhouse on multiple occasions, and he said that he uncovered “more items and many priceless antiques” with each new visit.
Sansivero’s timing was perfect, as many of these remarkable old objects have now been moved. The photographer was fortunate to get a good glimpse of what the farmhouse really looked like from the inside.
