You’ll Never Guess The Origin Of Some Of The Most Common Used Inventions

Germany – The Computer

Who knew being sluggish could amount to something? Konrad Zuse claiming he was too lazy for math, developed the first computer, Z3. Zuse was a mechanical engineer in Berlin whose work was to construct aircraft elements back in the 1930s. His job involved a legion of mathematical tasks, which he felt was too much, and thus started working on a machine that would do the work for him.

Konrad developed Z3 from his parent’s living room, starting from Z1 and modifying it until it got functional. He remained unaccredited even though he laid the foundation for today’s digital computers. However, tragically, Zuse’s computers got destroyed during World War II.
