Wonders of the Modern World: Jaw-Dropping Infrastructures That Leave You in Awe
Dudhsagar Falls
Dudhsagar Falls, located in the Western Ghats mountain range in India, is a magnificent natural wonder. It’s hard to believe, but the four-tiered waterfall cascades down from over 1,000 feet, making it one of the tallest waterfalls in the country. The falls are connected by a bridge, and the only way to see them is through a window.
Dubbed the “Sea of Milk,” the appearance of the falls as the water crashes down with tremendous force creates a frothy, white spray—hence its name. It is also surrounded by lush green forests and is a popular tourist destination for hiking and trekking enthusiasts.
