Lili Sumner is well-known in the world of fashion ever since she debuted on the runway when she was seventeen at Yves Saint Laurent. She was born in 1994 and comes from New Zealand. Her father is an Oscar-winning film editor, John Gilbert, who won the prestigious award for his work on Hacksaw Ridge in 2016. He also worked on Lord of the Rings and other high profile projects.
In the past decade, Sumner has worked with top names of the industry, like Kenzo, Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, Sonia Rykiel, and others. She’s been on the covers of Vogue and more. In 2019, Sumner directed and wrote a short movie titled Lucan Asks Why.
