Ryann Maegen Hoven, known today as Tess Holliday, is best recognized for being a plus-size model. She was born in 1985, in Mississippi, and she has talked about being bullied as a child from 5th grade for her pale skin and weight. Holliday has entered the modeling world when she was fifteen.
Needless to say, the first rejections she got at auditions were harsh, to put it mildly, but her big break came, then Torrid accepted her applications, and she was subsequently cast in Heavy TV show. Today, after many campaigns, TV, and magazine appearances, Holliday has a capsule line under her name, manufactured by Penningtons, and works with top names in showbiz.
