Daphne Selfe was born in 1928, and she is officially the world’s oldest professional model. She hails from the UK and has worked in the industry for a while now, as you might imagine. Selfe is particularly known for her unique styling ideas and the way she combines clothing, which definitely gains positive feedback from her fans.
She is also an author and, in 2015, Selfe published The Way We Wore: A Life in Clothes. It is a biography of her life and work. Selfe worked with the likes of David Bailey, Nick Knight, Mario Testino, and other famous photographers. She also modeled for Red or Dead, Dolce and Gabbana, and the likes.
