Gabourey Sidibe – Lost 150 LBS – Bariatric Surgery
Her very first role on the big screen, the drama film, Precious, landed her in the Oscars, nominated for the Best Actress Award. Since 2009, Gabourey Sidibe has been incredibly active, playing in American Horror Story and Empire. She’s also been diagnosed with diabetes type 2, had bariatric surgery, and managed to shed around 150 pounds!
She never wanted to be skinny; on the other hand, she just wanted to have a healthy weight. In 2017, Gabourey also published a memoir called This Is Just My Face: Try Not to Stare, where she shared her experience with Hollywood. Today, we’re expecting to see her playing in the film called Antebellum.
