The Quiet Life of Some of the Greatest NFL Players

Jerry Kramer, 87, Green Bay Packers

During his exceptional playing career, Jerry Kramer earned five All-Pro appearances and three Pro Bowls over the course of 10 years. He won five NFL championships and two Super Bowls for the Green Bay Packers as an offensive lineman, guard, and kicker. His on-field prowess earned him a place on the NFL’s 1960s All-Decade Team.

After retiring in 1969, Kramer turned to writing, releasing four bestsellers: “Instant Replay,” “Farewell to Football,” “Distant Replay,” and “Inside the Locker Room.” The Jordan, Montana, native also worked with CBS’ NFL telecasts as a color commentator and remains one of the greatest players in NFL history.
