The Blue Dragon and 39 Other Bizarre Creatures That Will Blow Your Mind

Ankole-Watusi Bull

The Ankole-Watusi bull would look like regular cattle on a farm if it weren’t for its hefty horns, which span nearly three meters from one tip to the other, and the absence of a hump on its neck. And unlike most cattle, these beasts can survive prolonged periods of the dry season.

Its origin can be traced to the Tutsi and Bahima cultures of East Africa, where it was regarded as a status symbol. But in the United States, the bull is mainly reared for high-quality meat. Milk production, however, is nearly impossible, as it produces less than one liter of milk daily during the lactation period.
