Julia Gnuse – World’s Most Tattooed Woman
Speaking of tattoos, let’s move on to talk about Julia Gnuse, who was the Guinness Record holder for being the most inked woman in the world. Nicknamed “The Illustrated Lady,” she had about 95% of her body covered in various permanent drawings of Lucille Ball and other pop culture icons.
Gnuse, who sadly passed away in 2016 at the age of 61, began getting tattoos in the early ‘90s. A walking work of art, she was featured on shows like Larry King Live, and Ripleys Believe It Or Not. Her obituary also mentioned that she has a statue displayed at the Guinness Museum in Japan.
