As we walk deep into the ‘Akaka Falls State Park, we experience a strong sensation of bonding with nature. We’re surrounded by vegetation, and we cannot stop taking pictures of the beautiful 100-foot Kahuna Falls. But we’ve saved the park’s top attraction for last.
The waterfall that gives ‘Akaka its name is a 442-foot wonder visible from the park’s loop hiking trail, and it took our breath away. ‘Akaka Falls can be spotted after a walk of just half-a-mile, making it a perfect tourist attraction to visit with the entire family, even grandma! We felt like looking at it forever, but we really need to get going now…
