According to an article in The Telegraph by Tim Robey, a film critic, Meg Ryan is one of the few great actors in the industry who have never been nominated for an Oscar. Nonetheless, her fans and followers know of her potential after she’s acted in films such as “When Harry Met Sally…,” “Sleepless in Seattle,” and “Promised Land.”
Ryan made her acting debut in the soap opera “Rich and Famous” and has also been in 31 episodes of “As the World Turns.” However, her breakthrough was marked by a supporting role in the 1986 Tom Cruise action film “Top Gun.”
