It seems like being written out of Coronation Street in 2020 was a blessing in disguise for Beverley Callard. Leaving her post as Liz McDonald after 31 years, she found new opportunities for herself beyond the soap opera following her I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here stint.
She’s reportedly even been offered a free facelift upon leaving. Unfortunately, these exciting new things in her life might mean that the 63-year-old English actress won’t be able to come back to the cobbles and film a proper farewell scene for her character.
