Before There Was Bradley Cooper And Lady Gaga
After making the transition to films in the late ‘60s, Funny Girl actress Barbra Streisand became a bona fide movie star the following decade. At the time this photo was taken, she had just starred in the third version of A Star Is Born, produced by her then-partner Jon Peters, pictured here beside her at Studio 54.
The classic Hollywood story and their offscreen chemistry are comparable to that of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, who made their own version of the same film in 2018. What sets Streisand and Peters apart though is that they were an actual couple at the time.
