You probably recognized the Queen of Rock and Roll Tina Turner right away from this candid shot. We bet you didn’t know the man laughing along with her. Guess that’s the price a photographer like Francesco Scavullo pays for always being behind the camera.
Fashionistas might be familiar with his work for Cosmopolitan magazine though. In fact, he reportedly took all the covers for the publication’s issues throughout the ‘70s. But that night at Studio 54, he had the chance to be photographed by another shutterbug, Rose Hartman, as Scavullo didn’t like heading out at night with his gear.
