Coming out as gay for world-renowned athletes isn’t a piece of cake. So, imagine how Tom Daley must have felt when he finally came out of the closet. It was an unnerving feeling – almost comparable to when he’s diving at Olympic events.
The bronze medalist’s life changed when he met and fell head over heels for Lance Black in 2013. Interestingly, Tom admitted his previous relationships with women weren’t that bad, but being with Lance just felt so right! So much that they decided to get hitched in 2017 and now have a son through surrogacy. Indeed, Tom being true to himself paid off in the end.
