The Official Verdict
It would appear to be so judging from the inconclusive results of the investigation. Shrugging their shoulders in dismay, the authorities working on the case weren’t able to figure out how a huge winged machine could have been lost mid-air. In the end, they released a statement ruling the incident as a plane crash.
Their official verdict determined that everyone on board died because of the accident. Unfortunately, they could not answer the pressing questions the relatives of the missing passengers had about their loved ones’ exact fate. The incident would remain a mystery for years. That is until the plane resurfaced 37 years later.
