Getting To The Bottom Of Things
Determined to get to the bottom of things, the air traffic controllers tried to get in touch with Flight 914’s captain via radio. Still, no luck. None of them could get through and contact the pilot or any of the people on board. They were beginning to panic.
See, this occurred at a time when air travel wasn’t as safe as it is today. Most planes then weren’t pressurized and weren’t able to fly during inclement weather. While Flight 914 flew in good weather without a hitch that day, it might have entered a pocket with bad conditions up in the air.
