There also plenty of details that just don’t add up when it comes to the story. For starters, the article on the reappearance of Flight 914 first appeared on the paper in 1985. Yes, that’s a whole seven years before the events of the story even transpired!
Weekly World News would publish the same article twice more over the years, according to AFP. And with every iteration, the tabloid would seemingly change some details about the story. Unless they have a time travel machine at their office, we’re inclined to believe that Flight 914 is a product of fabrication.
