This image gives us eerie, horror movie vibes, a picture that seems to have come straight from “The Exorcism.” Believe it or not, this was the young Elvis Presley, and his mom, Gladys, in a photo said to be taken in the ’40s.
In the book “From Elvis in Memphis,” the author noted how the mother and son had a closer than usual relationship, with the King of Rock and Roll’s ex-wife Priscilla calling Gladys the true love of Presley’s life. So when the matriarch passed away in 1958, the artist was so devastated that he said his heart was broken.
