We now see the harrowing effects of climate change across the world as increasingly more nations suffer extreme drought or rain. Unfortunately, this has long been happening because of our doing. In 1910, Parisians found themselves with this problem when for over two months, the nation was submerged in flood due to continuous rains.
As such, citizens had to find ingenious ways to survive, including thinking outside the box when it came to traversing the streets. This community used chairs to help them get to their destination dry, while some used wooden planks or canoes to navigate.
