It’s difficult to say when friendly gazes turned into something more passionate. Everyone at school knew that Kate and William got on very well. They watched their relationship blossom, but no one thought there was something special there.
But there was. Somewhere along the line, Kate and Williams had begun looking at each other in a much different light. They soon realized they could no longer deny their feelings as they spent more time together. And so, in 2002, they made things official. That was also the year Kate modeled on the catwalk for a student fashion show at St. Andrews.
