Horses Are a No-No
Talking about Kate’s many talents and accomplishments almost makes it seem like she’s a superwoman. But all superheroes have an Achilles heel, and hers came in the form of an allergy to horses. Yes, Kate is one of the very few members of the royal family who have never been on horseback.
Growing up, many of her peers were taking riding lessons. But Kate could hardly exist near a horse, talk less of riding one. She revealed in 2009 that she was severely allergic to horses. It prevented her from playing her beloved sport, polo. Still, she’s taken steps to try to overcome it.
