LISA WILKINSON AND PETER FITZSIMONS | 30 YEARS
Lisa Wilkinson began her career as a journalist, writing articles for Dolly magazine. She then moved on to become editor, and after her success there, she was offered to be the editor of Cleo magazine, where she proved to be a great mentor to other female journalists.
On television, she hosts “The Project” for Network 10. Up until 2018, she was editor-at-large for the Australian edition of Huffington Post. In 1992, she married Peter FitzSimons, a former rugby player for the Australian team. They first met at the Channel 9 studio buildings when they were guests on the “Today” show. Later re-introduced by Liz Hayes, they tied the knot nine months later.
