Jennifer Metcalfe – Mercedes McQueen, Hollyoaks
Jennifer Metcalfe already knew her way around a soap opera set before she landed her role as Mercedes McQueen in Hollyoaks in 2006. She’s gained some experience on the set of Emmerdale and the drama Where the Heart Is a couple of years prior.
So, you could say Metcalfe was ready to take on the sometimes crazy shenanigans Mercedes herself got into. There’s her affair with her fiancé’s dad, as well as the time she stabbed herself and framed someone else for it. Hopefully, Metcalfe has readied herself for even more of this as she continues to take on the role into 2021.
