Hollyoaks’ resident bad boy-turned-good guy Brendan Brady melted hearts through his relationship with Ste Hay. However, the rebel, played by Emmett J. Scanlan, had to say goodbye to his fans in 2013. In reality, the actor wanted to explore the acting scene outside the soap.
Although he met his wife Claire Cooper in Hollyoaks, it is safe to say that Brady made a wise decision to move out of his comfort zone as he went on to add more credits to his diverse portfolio, from Peaky Blinders to Safe. The Irish actor continues to act, and fans will see him next in Kin and Lapwing.
