Actress Claire Danes ranted at the fact that she had always played parts where she fell in love. She felt like she wanted to do something different and finally, she got the lead role on Temple Grandin. The 2010 biographical drama tells the story of the iconic woman who revolutionized animal rights by promoting humane handling practices at slaughterhouses and cattle ranches.
Temple Grandin also became an inspiration for those with autism and she even became the first autistic to publicly talk and write about her condition. Claire Danes won the Golden Globe Best Actress award under the Television Film category for her performance in the film.
