Bruno Ganz As Adolf Hitler In Downfall
Bruno Ganz was a Swiss actor who became one of the most awarded and recognized actors in Switzerland and Germany. He was honored several times for his stage performances and was also recognized for his film roles. One of these was his portrayal of Adolf Hitler in the movie Downfall, released in 2004.
This portrayal earned Bruno an Academy Award nomination as well as much critical acclaim. His last project was A Hidden Life and it was presented at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2019. Ganz passed away in February 2019 after battling cancer.
