Speaking of Harley Quinn, let’s look at the actress who physically gave life to the character in the DCEU films: Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey. As many of you may already know, it’s the Australian actress Margot Robbie. Today, however, we’re looking at a different role.
We bet you didn’t know that she played Queen Elizabeth I in Mary Queen of Scots because everything (face, hair, and attire) was different. According to its director Josie Rourke’s on Refinery29, the disguise’s goal was to express the “vulnerability and humanity in a woman.” Robbie is set to reprise Harley Quinn’s role in The Suicide Squad in 2021, plus various others.
