We’ve already mentioned How Orange Is The New Black has required lots of its cast to go against their usually well-kept images to represent the inmate world and what life in prison is like. One of the cast members that do a brilliant job at this is Laura Gomez.
She plays Blanca Flores and does an expert job of looking disheveled ad unkempt, to the point of looking like a wild woman. Gomez herself isn’t nearly as raggedy as her character and is also a talented director who has won a Technosphere Award for a short film she created called To Kill a Roach.
