Lizzy Caplan As Janice Ian
Having gotten her big break in the series Freaks and Geeks, Lizzy Caplan quickly moved on to film roles, landing key parts in films like Mean Girls and Cloverfield. For the latter, she was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress.
But in Mean Girls, Caplan made a big impression as Janice Ian, a rebellious goth teen who inspires the plan the lead character uses to topple the lead antagonist. She wore goth makeup, dyed her hair black, and got a few extra piercings for the role. This is in stark contrast to her look in later films, including the one she’s set to star in called Cobweb.
