In 2016, her career saw a major highlight. She received critical acclamation for playing real-life prosecutor Marcia Clark on The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story.
Even though the real Marcia Clark has short dark hair, Paulson’s character on the show had ringlets, making her look almost unrecognizable from her real self. As of 2020, the 45-year-old Paulson has an ongoing role in Ratched and is expected to play Linda Tripp in Impeachment: American Crime Story.
