Armin Shimerman As Quark
Armin Shimerman is yet again another actor from Star Trek who had to spend a few hours on his makeup chair to get into character. He gave life to the Ferengi (an extraterrestrial species) bartender named Quark on Star Trek, more than 170 episodes on Deep Space Nine.
Shimerman must have spent an uncountable number of hours on the makeup chair, considering that he needed a whole new head for his role. According to Star Trek’s website, Karen Westerfield is the makeup artist behind the character, and we must applaud her work. Even with 200 credits to his name at 71, Shimerman hasn’t retired, with the latest work being Unbelievable!!!!!
