Tom Cruise enjoyed playing someone who looked nowhere near his real self. He even insisted that he gets fat hands and the chance to dance as the balding studio executive Les Grossman in 2008’s Tropic Thunder. You can see the unrecognizable Cruise showing off his moves in his fat suit during the comedy film’s end credits.
Over a decade since nabbing the role, the Mission: Impossible star still gamely talks about Les and his experience filming with director Ben Stiller. These days though, he’s back to his usual action star persona with the upcoming sequel to one of his classic films Top Gun: Maverick, set to come out in 2021.
