Jennifer Lawrence As Mystique
Jennifer Lawrance was the Mystique in the 2019 X-Men: Dark Phoenix movie, which was based on Marvel Comics’ X-Men characters. To transform Lawrance to Mystique was a difficult task. Frances Hannon, head of the makeup and hair department, said they did at least 20 tests painting different women to find the right shade of blue for Lawrance’s character.
According to Hannon, this pain-staking makeup job took six girls about seven hours to paint her full body. Imagine how frustrating the process would have been for Lawrence! The 30-year-old is currently in the process of some new projects, including Don’t Look Up and Mob Girl.
