As a young student, Marion Carll was used to living in a single, modest room. At the farmhouse, though, there was too much space for one person to cover. Carll likely counted with the daily support of her household staff, and it’s possible they lived in this room: the attic.
Risking his own life, Sansivero could get to the very top of the house and capture this rough-looking area. It’s not as well-maintained as some of the other farmhouse rooms, but it features a fascinating set of old steel petticoats hanging from the walls.
