Marion Carll’s love for the past was remarkable, but it didn’t come out of resentful conservatism: instead, it was a part of her charming personality and tasteful style. This colorful room, which also features a fireplace, still boasts some of the vibrance and life it used to, even under all those layers of dust and abandonment.
The blue wallpaper mixes perfectly with the white of the fireplace, and we love the detail of the pink chair. An old cabinet of books has remained pretty much intact, and it’s yet further evidence of Carll’s love for studying and reading.
