A Couple With African-American Triplets Is Changing The Way People Think About Mixed-Race Families

Valuing All Lives

The Halbert triplets make us think about the importance of all lives, and that’s precisely what Rachel and Aaron wanted to do. As pro-life believers, they consider all lives equally important, including the lives represented by the millions of unused embryos stored all across the world.

They made this point clear by saying that the embryos’ lives were “no less important” than the lives of children who are holding on to be adopted. This makes sense if you consider that the two embryos the couple used had been waiting in storage for 12 years!
