Faithful people aren’t always associated with the ideas of cultural acceptance and multiculturalism. But as Aaron pointed out in an interview, the idea that many cultures exist has always been a cornerstone of Christianity. Missionaries spent centuries trying to take the word of the Lord to every country in every continent, regardless of race, ethnicity, or gender.
While the Church is not totally blameless in its history, Christianity’s fundamental ideas aren’t opposed to the notion of multiculturalism. In fact, they embrace it. Aaron has put it best by saying that Christianity is “calling people from every tongue, tribe, and nation.”
